Sebastian: Short-Term Intensive Japanese Course, Rikkyo Univ.

This summer Sebastian spent three weeks studying on the Short-Term Intensive Japanese Course at the Niiza Campus of Rikkyo University in Tokyo. The programme included lessons, activities, optional trips and home visits. Sebastian kindly shared his experiences with this year’s CES Japanese classes, providing valuable advice about the course and practical tips for making exploration in Japan as easy and rewarding as possible. Note: to use foreign bankcards in an ATM, go to a post office or a 7-Eleven!

The University of Lincoln has growing links with Rikkyo University, which has two campuses in Tokyo: Ikebukuro and Niiza. Exchange programmes are available through the International Business School: Nayan and Tasmin from our group spent four months in Tokyo earlier this year, and current teachers Nadata-sensei and Jarwar-sensei are studying in Lincoln until May.
